Great news today......nurse just called and told me that my "FISH" test results were negative! My first reaction......negative....hmmmm...is negative or positive good or bad?? Sometimes we want to hear negative and sometimes we want to hear positive to be associated with 'GOOD', right? So confusing!
She recognized my hesitation and confusion and re-assured me that this is a GOOD thing! Apparently, I will not need the drug herceptin to take as a chemical following my surgery. Anytime I don't have to put chemicals in my body its a celebration! So....that little 'FISH-EE' can just swim on back out into the water!
I'm thinking its a Starbucks treat for me today!!!
